Exercise equipment can be expensive, but sometimes we just need to ante up and pay for it, because let’s face it: Physical exercise in moderation is healthy for us.
Patience is healthy for us, too – and we could all use a little more of it. But, like any skill, the only way to develop patience is with practice. And the only way to practice patience is to be put in situations that trigger your impatience.
Unlike expensive gym equipment, however, the universe is actually giving away free situations in which you can exercise your level of patience every day. So the next time you encounter a situation that triggers your impatience, remember: this is the universe’s free gift to you!
Of course, you know as well as I do that if you don’t actually use the equipment, you won’t get better at being patient. So be sure to make the most of those moments, and truly invest in flexing those “patience” muscles.
