I love to lift weights. I’m right handed, so if I do exercises that call for me to use one arm at a time, I start with my right arm. And it hit me one day when I was doing one-arm curls that my left arm has it way easier; not because my arms are disproportionate, but because once I complete a set with my right arm, I now know it’s definitely possible for me to do it with my left. It doesn’t make the weight lighter, it only makes my mind know I can do it.
And isn’t that a lot like life? When we know we can do something, it’s easier for us to follow through and do it. But the truth is that human potential is limitless. Your potential is limitless. Know that you can do anything. See yourself accomplish whatever goals you want: believe you can with all of you – and then go do it!
